In response to God’s call, Pr Vusi joined Challenge Ministries Swaziland in 2008 first through Book of Hope Foundation as a teacher, then joined Samaritan’s Purse Organisation as a driver and community motivator. Intrigued with winning souls for Jesus and in the demonstration of leadership passion, in 2010 CMS invited Pr Vusi to help lead the Men’s Centre under the directorship of Pr Fritz Faro, and later Pr Musa Masinga for a period of about 3 years.
Towards the end of 2012, CMS’s leadership requested Pr Vusi to head a Life Skills Program with the primary focus of looking beyond mere rehabilitation from the use of drugs and alcohol, but with a mission to empower young men and women with practical life skills to help curb the effects of joblessness.
In the year 2016, the Life Skills Program came to a halt. Due to Pr Vusi’s dedication and loyalty to God’s work and the ministry at large, the leadership of Challenge Ministries Sswaziland decided to re-assign Pr Vusi back to the Men’s Centre, this time as a full-time centre manager and also serving at Challenge Ministries Swaziland’s headquarter church as an apprentice pastor. He is happily married to one female wife and God has blessed them with 2 handsome boys aged 10 and 3 respectively.
